I just wonder that, in the minds of admission officers of the Ivy League, which convinces them more of the student's language ability? - DELF, or SATII?

I myself took the DELF B1 and passed (it was like 20/14/17/15). I took it because (1) my SAT schedule at that time was already full and (2) I intend to apply to French classes pr

You would need to check with Harvard. DELF is not listed as an option on their website:

Foreign Languages: All students are required to complete the foreign language requirement by the beginning of junior year. This can be achieved by:

a score of 700 or higher on an SAT II language test,
a score of 5 on any Advanced Placement language test (except International English language),
a score of 7 or greater on most International Baccalaureate (HL) language tests (the Portugal B test may not be used to fulfill the requirement),
a satisfactory score on Harvard placement tests,
or by completing one year of study of a language at Harvard.

^Those are requirements AFTER you get accepted

I’ve taken the SAT French Test and although I know that DELF and DALF are well known internationally, there are no specific spaces in the application (common app or the supplement) for those scores, and you have to put the scores in the additional scores section. I just think that the SAT French is more convenient, but I really don’t think it matters.

I’m thinking of taking C1 if possible, don’t know if it will boost my chances though
