Den Season Tickets.. help!?

Okay so I really do look forward to attending the athletic events esp. the football and basketball games but I am wondering if it is VERY difficult to buy tickets if you're not a den member.. bc though i would like to go to all the games its likely i'll have a friend or two who wish to come that aren't students. They're not allowed in the den, correct? I guess I just want a clarification or opinions from current students who have den season tickets and those who do not .. and what they suggest for someone who wants to visit the games but will possibly bring friends from outside of school. Thank you in advance.

Football: Very easy to get student section tickets separate ($10), except for SC game.

Basketball: Even if you get a separate seat, it will be in the 300s.

So in order to bring a guest, my best bet is to just purchase tickets seperately instead of getting the season tickets?

Yeah, well what I would do would buy a season pass so you can sit in the student section for most of the season, and when your friend does come go ahead and buy individual tickets from CTO. The student section is... the best, and if your friend only comes to a few games, and you're a die-hard Bruin fan, get the den pass.

say i have a friend who also has a den pass but does not want to go to a ucla game. Can i use their ticket to get my guest from another school in?

It'd help if they looked alike (wink), since all tickets are stored on bruincards, sometimes the card checkers don't look, but I'd be cautious (they're the same every game), but you can try to find other people who aren't going and look the same and swap, etc.

It works most of the time. Just show the other side of the Bruin Card upon entry; they will scan the back of the card where there is the barcode, so no photo verification is necessary. :D
