I applied for business administration and got denied…is there anything I can do? Appeal? I thought business was not impacted…long beach and fullerton put me on waitlist at least but pomona didnt sigh

I’m so sorry. I think you’ll have a better chance at successfully gaining admission to either Fullerton or Long Beach. Then again, in the current caos you might get away with an appeal. If you want to appeal here’s how ([Appeal Information](http://dsa.csupomona.edu/admissions/appeal_information.asp))

Fill out this form:
http://www.csupomona.edu/~admissions/publications/CPP_appeal_cover.pdf

Write a letter of appeal stating why you think Cal Poly will miss out on an excellent student if they let you go.

Send most recent high school transcript.

Send other documents that can help back up how awesome a student you are. (No letter of recommendations, but maybe community service, charity work, etc.)

P.S. Only do it if you REALLY want to come here. If not, don’t bother, they spot B.S. right away. Also, you only have 10 days to appeal starting on the day you were notified.

Cheers!

Well this sux. I was notified on Friday like most people that I was denied/CSU eligible/not redirected. I’m a Business transfer student with over 60 units, 3.3 GPA and have one of the four golden-four (math) still in progress (most probable culprit).

I wrote a meticulous letter of appeal and mailed it the same day. Hopefully given my circumstances, my appeal may be considered - but I’m not counting on it!

Never know if you’ll hit a home run if you don’t pick up the bat and hit the ball at all, right? Even if you struck out at first.

Good luck with the appeal syntha7!

I hope you get to be one of the students who will be using these new building complex:
