Dental School :S

Hi, I'm an international student and will be going to college this fall. I've narrowed down my options to Tufts, Northwestern, and BC. I will most likely go to Northwestern and major in chemistry or biology.

I don't know anything about getting into dental school (especially as an international student).
Can you give me a basic outline of what are the requirements, things I should do, etc.??

Plus, can you also give me a list of schools that accept many international students? (ex: NYU)

Sorry to keep asking things but I've heard that it is impossible to get a job and make a sufficient living as a science major (without a professional degree.) Are there really no majors that I can prepare for dental school, maintain my gpa, and have a possible job to fall back on?

Thanks!
I'm really new to this stuff..:)

I think Biology is a better major for dental school. You can make it into dental school if you try so you don’t need to fall back on your Bachelor’s degree. Trying to succeed at everything will cause you to succeed at nothing. This is coming from a first year dental student. My advice to you is to call the admissions office and ask them “I am an international student and I want to apply to your school. Can you tell me how many international students you have in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year at your school?” Good luck!
