Dental Work and Medical Changes

Hey I just had my Wisdom Teeth pulled (well two of them, two more later)...Actually Im writing this just as the painkiller is wearing off and it is killing me....arrgghh!

Anyway, I know that I am supposed to notify the Academy when there is a change in my medical status. THis is a pretty significant change, escpecalll since the top teeth are imbedded which means they are all the way inside the bone, it takes a longer surgery to get them out. So do I just send a letter to the Academy when I send in my new dental scans (without the Wisdom teeth) telling them about the teeth coming out? I can get my dentist to write some kind of letter if need be saying the procedure went fine, ect...

Anyone else had a situation like this? Major medical change between acceptance letter and I-day?

Post your question at Service Academy Forums under the DODMERB section for the best answer you'll get anywhere.

Yes.

(ps... not sure I would label this a "major medical change," but update your records nevertheless)
