Departmental Honors (poli sci) worth doing?

<p>Anyone know if the departmental honors sequence (I'm poli sci, if that matters) is worth it? By worth it, I mean both "does the distinction on the diploma or transcript carry weight?", and "is there good experience to be gained from the DH sequence?" </p>

<p>I'd really appreciate any feedback, because if I decide to pursue this, I'm going to have to go to summer school to meet the 5-upper div admission requirement.</p>

<p>I don’t really have the credentials to answer, but I’d suggest dropping by the career center and seeing what they suggest, since they look over resumes and whatnot all the time. Good luck!</p>
