I'm going into Public Relations and planning on double majoring in Marketing. UF is cheaper but I'm in love DePaul. I'm in love with the city and people I've met that are going to DePaul have been great. I haven't gotten that friendly vibe from UF as of yet and I feel like I'll be missing out on a vibrant city life if I'm stuck in Gainsville. I know that with DePaul, I'll be able to get internships with major companies since they already have connects set up with them. I'm still not sure if it's worth the debt.

If anyone knows more about UF's PR and Marketing programs, please let me know. I was also accepted to the Innovation Academy so I'll only be able to attend Spring and Summer which also turns me off to UF. The bigger class sizes and humid weather, too.

I hate UF. I hate the city, the racism, the SEC homerism - but it’s a better school and it’s cheaper.

It’s not worth the debt and 2) U of Chicago, Northwestern and UIUC take more internships - you’ll be competing for the 2nd rate ones with the UIC (not UIUC) kids.

They are pretty even with a slight edge going to UIUC. I would choose UIUC in a heartbeat - but again the cost. I wouldn’t pay a dime more for it. I feel you I LOVE Chicago, but debt is debt.
