Derailment Cancels Most Amtrak Service

<p>If anyone is taking Amtrak from Cville to the north this weekend for break, check your email for a notice from Amtrak A freight train derailment has cancelled some of the routes, including some that were sold out. Another route is still available using a different track, but it will probably sell out fast. </p>

<p>If you call 8772319448, they can try to shift you to a different train.</p>

<p>Apparently the derailment was in West Virginia and is blocking the Cardinal train, which runs from the midwest to the east to Cville and then up the northeast corridor. Amtrak trains that ONLY travel north-south apparently are not affected.</p>
