Describe the overall vibe (social, academic etc) of:

Georgetown, WashU, USC, GW, Tufts

Or any other schools anyone else wants add.
Sounds like a good, useful thread to me.

Any input? I have my personal opinions but I'd like to hear what others have to say. Just overall the kind of attitude and feel of each school, socially, academically, politically, workhard/partyhard, etc. Anything.

bump 10chr

No one wants to add anything to this one?

Uh, look at the college visits section, or post a thread in the individual forums, or do a search.

I looked at the college visits section but its rather vague. I'm just looking for a little input here. Anyone?

Tufts: everyone wants to save the world; very academic environment but people are competitive with themselves more than with each other which makes for a good learning environment; very small Greek scene -- the party scene is mostly in off-campus houses and of course Boston is 10 minutes away

I get a bit of a cold(as in personal warmth, not temperature in Boston haha) and nerdy vibe from Tufts. I'm very IR geared which is why I love Georgetown, and comparing it to Tufts Gtown seems like a lot more fun.

All right.

Salpert, here's a great thread for stuff on Tufts:
