Desperate for help please!

I am applying as a transfer student. Last year i got a b- in an intro to finance course. The course was literally insane... the teacher counted the final for 75 percent of our grade and it was not on any of the material we were learning in class... most of my class got low b's and c's... it was just messed up.. and the school didn't care.. they think there "academics are challenging" because the grades are low and we did badly?... so i want to let the schools im applying to know that this b- is not a fair representation at all and that the class was just a big mess- how do i write it politely to not come off as trying to cover up or make excuses for poor performance.. Thanks!

I would advise not to even open this subject with the school you’re planning to transfer to. I don’t see any positive could come out of opening this issue with your destination college.

Good luck.

Why is a B- considered so bad? If this still keeps you in the range of the transfer GPA needed, you should be fine.

Where are you applying?

Columbia G.S.

I agree, don’t call any attention to the grade.

How is most of the class getting B’s and C’s insane?
