I am studying in Engalnd and presently predicted 5 grade A a levels. When regestering for the SATs i naively but down ivy league univerisites as my score recipients. Well basically now my eyes have been open and I think I may have been way too ambitious especially having scored an average score doing a practise SAT. I know that my A level scores may add some weight but realistically what universities should I apply to outside of the ivy league category cause i really do not know which ones are good or not

what area of the country are you going to go to college at? west coast? east coast? is there a limit to how much you are willing to pay tuition for the school? what are you plannign on majoring in?

i don't know if it will help but here is a list of the top colleges:

also if you go to collegeboard.com you can look at individual schools and see what the acceptance rate is and what the average sat score is.
