Desperate question by an IB student regarding AP Literature exam

Hello! I am an IB student and took the IB English literature exam recently. I will, however, be taking the AP Lit exam (the alternate exam) in a few days with hopes of receiving at least a 4 for college credit. For the open essay, am I free to use works of drama like Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, Fences, Waiting for Godot, etc? We mostly studied poetry and drama in my IB class so I’m just worried that I won’t be able to apply them to the open essay…

Yes

Thank you @skieurope
Hoping for someone else to verify also

Thanks @MaineLonghorn

@WorldExplorer You want someone else to verify? How about the College Board? Q3 has said since time immemorial “You may select … another work of equal literary merit.” Additionally, the works you cited, as well as others by Albee, Beckett, and Wilson, have been offered up on the “list below” in various years as per the below link. Relax, you’re not quoting Harry Potter.

Thank you so much @skieurope
That’s takes a lot of weight off my shoulders!

You must write about a novel or play, so no poems.
