We are excited to attend Destination SMU. Question…I’m unclear how much of the day they will want parents around. Are there specific portions of the day that are beneficial for parent attendance? Or should we plan for my son to attend on his own the entire day? We have toured the school already and are familiar with Dallas. If anyone has any details…please enlighten me.

Hi! I just returned from Destination SMU with my son. It worked like this:
Parents are included in every portion EXCEPT sitting in on a class. I was included in breakfast, lunch, all the seminars, etc. But sat with a book on a bench by the fountain while DS was in a chemistry class. Have fun!
Did it finish at 4:00?
As I recall, it ended more like 3-3:30. But they had a nice farewell thing at the flagpole with Pokey O’s, swag gifts, and photographs. So you could stretch it to 4pm quite easily.
