<p>Are the details in the supplement supposed to only list the books or can you expand on them?</p>
<p>I think that the preview shows that you can fill up more space than just simply writing down a title and author. I would appreciate it if I could expand on why these things are my favorite/why these two words describe me, but will that annoy the adcoms?</p>

<p>I asked an admissions rep that came to my school today, and he said that people usually write one or two words. Some people write a sentence; a paragraph would probably be overkill. It is up to your interpretation.</p>
<p>I think the commonapp restricts your response to 150 characters (correct me if I’m wrong) so I think what he was trying to say is that you should use the space given wisely.</p>
