DGS experience - any real experience input PLEASE

As i said in a previous post, got into DGS as alternate admin instead of COB. Since getting into COB after freshman is very tough, instead of messing with it, is it good to take LAS route as there some high interest of actuarial science or math/cs as that would be a second choice anyway.

Anyone has any real experience that got into DGS, attempted for COB re-entry but didnt work. How did you plan out the rest and graduated on-time or on track? This is a huge dilema. Your thoughts please. Appreciate!

DGS sucks. While all your friends are skating by with Cs, you have to work to get a good GPA to transfer into a college. I got denied from engineering but accepted to DGS, and I basically need to get a 3.5+ for my first year or two just to graduate with a major. With business, the requirement is also very high.

If you think you can get the grades, then taking the DGS route and transferring will work just fine. Just be prepared to do a ton of work freshman year, because if you don’t get the grades, it’s going to be very hard to get the major you want. Don’t let me discourage you, however, it can definitely be done with determination. Good luck.
