My admissions counselor said today in a phone call that they should be out by the end of the month
After browsing around other threads about the DHS and PT scholarships, I decided to create a UPS account like some people had mentioned in hopes of being able to track if anything was coming from Tulane. Well, this morning I woke up to an email notifying me that tomorrow I will recieve a package from Tulane Admissions via two day shipping… now I don’t want to jump the gun or jinx myself but I think there is a strong chance that this is the DHS! So, everyone be on the lookout for the UPS truck tomorrow!
Verrrrrry interesting. LOL, you are too young to get the reference, it was from a hit TV show of the early 70’s. Let’s see what other reports we get.

Did you automatically get an email or did you have to do something with your online account?
I don’t want to create false hope, but keep in mind that if they have sent out DHS awards (and we don’t know that for a certainty yet) they may not have sent out all 75 in one shot, and we still don’t know about the Paul Tulane. So be patient before being disappointed or panicking, and let’s see when we truly have more complete information.
Right, and the other “marker”, Tulane Jeff’s photo of the envelopes on his blog, isn’t up yet either 
fyi…we never saw a picture posted in 2014…just the one photo posted on the blog of the UPS packages going out in 2013…wouldn’t necessarily expect one
Its not guaranteed, but has been posted more than once. Just another datapoint…
If he is out of the office, it might not make it to his blog.
Nothing is on its way to my address. Let’s see how this unfolds over the next two days. It’s not worth worrying about it when we have no info to go off of.

@danman1022 The email preferences on my My Choice account must have been set to email me whenever a package was shipped to my address, so yes I did receive an email from UPS saying that a package from Tulane had been sent to me. I then logged onto my account and a little calendar popped up, showing that the package should be delivered to me tomorrow.
@StagNation You are absolutely correct! There is no cause for any worry or panic. The Admissions Office has said by the end of the month notifications will go out and I’m certain many of you will have those UPS trucks stopping by very soon! Try to breathe and relax. I’m a parent and giving myself the same advice! 
Also, I did set up this account about a week ago, and the records that are showing on UPS states that the package was ready for pickup from Tulane on Friday February 20th. I don’t know if you would be notified the same way as I was (or if you would be notified at all) if you created a UPS account after Friday - maybe the account won’t go back and track packages that were already en route before you created the account?
Just set up an account today. About an hour later, it is showing a UPS incoming from Tulane.
