I just got an email about a package too! I’m not getting my hopes up, but this is still very exciting news
This is sort of off topic, but what’s actually inside the DHS package? (Why do they need a package instead of just sending a letter saying “Congrats, you got it!”)
Also, didn’t we hear that PTA’s are coming before DHS this year?

The letter comes in a really nice Tulane embossed “pleather” portfolio or whatever those legal pad holders are called. Hence the package.

Just rumors. Lots of those crop up, and they are usually wrong. Could be this is just DHS, or these could be the PTA only (although I doubt that very much) or this is everything, both the DHS and the PTA. Won’t know for another day at least.
Only applied for DHS, not PT. Got the notice today that UPS will be at my house tomorrow afternoon.
Tomorrow is going to be a busy day on this board…
You are so right…hope the CC site can keep up :)…also hoping that one of the UPS email notifications shows up for my son.
I gave D2 the information about UPS and she decided to wait and see, rather than signing up for a UPS account. I would not have predicted that; normally she wants whatever information is available. Go figure!

Oh, this is nothing compared to the middle of December or the end of March!! CC will be fine. I just wonder if this is DHS only or DHS + PTA. I just doubt very much it is PTA only, especially since Asdfjklepwu said they only did the DHS and that it looks like they are getting a package.
I wish the very best of luck to each and every one of you. I talked to my D at Stanford today and we reminisced about when she got the package 6 years ago. That was a very exciting day.
I wonder if I can sleep with my fingers crossed on D2’s behalf? My brain knows that the die is cast, at least for this set of notifications, but my heart is superstitious. And this is definitely one of the nights when I’m glad she doesn’t have a CC account so she can’t read my musings!
I find a measured amount of alcohol is an appropriate prescription for SAS (Scholarship Anxiety Syndrome).
I signed up for the UPS account for D, but with my email address - like you, @Arlmom2, I worry so she doesn’t have to. No package en route 
Haha let’s hope the PTA is coming out separately. This is gonna be a long day.

In Florida, my mom just texted me that a package arrived… On my way home from school. I will post when I find out

Sorry, but I just had to. I took some grief from some people for being overly optimistic when I said they had just as good a chance as accepted students. I hope I can remember this post next year when the same thing happens.
We will now commence to have anxiety attacks in this Northern VA house every time a UPS truck is in the neighborhood. Congrats to those who have received and will receive these prestigious scholarships. Know the chances are slim - but hope reigns eternal (unless we hear otherwise…)
Well, lo and behold, there is a UPS package from Tulane on the front porch! Want others that are anxiously waiting to know that according to UPS My choice, nothing was en route. Can’t wait for D to get home…Mom and Dad are elated!
