Diagnostic Medical Sonography/Medical Assistant

<p>I am considering either taking a certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or being a Medical Assistant. I have already read information about both and am already leaning towards one of those. I was considering Pharmacy technician at first, but have read so many negative comments about it I'm looking at other options such as these. </p>

<p>Does anyone here know anything about these careers, and can provide me with any advice?</p>

<p>Call places that hire and see if they would hire someone with the certificate you are considering. I know a hospital unit secretary that completed a sonography program and cannot get a job-the school was not adequate. She has to pay back lots of loans. Why not a CC and explore jobs?</p>
