I had my junior prom on June 1st this year, and had no intentions of missing it. Well, the next morning I was running off of maybe 3 hours sleep and took the test in a different school than mine. I didnt do horrible, especially since it was my first time. I got a 560 CR (hate that s**t) 670 M (thought I did better) and 650 W (11 essay w00t!) Not what I wanted, but not bad given the circumstances. I enjoyed the essay tho, cuz I wrote about the movie "the pursuit of happyness."

Did anyone else have any big events on June 1st and wake up the next morning for this glorious test?

i went to bed at 12:00, then got up to verify my things, and saw that i had signed up at the wrong high school. I ended up not being able to falling asleep thinking of ways to get into the testing room if they didn't let me in.

So took it w ith about 0 hours of sleep, cause luckily they let me do a site change. Surprisingly I still did pretty good (2280). Maybe i can focus better when im tired im not really sure lol

the week before the SAT i traveled to Europe, and came back the day before, was operating on jet lag and no sleep. I also caught the flu while there, so I was throwing up every few hours and felt terrible. The night before the SAT i also went to a few parties, and ended up pulling an all-nighter. I managed to do all right though (2390), so it worked out.

My school didn't have any such event, but I always stay up until 3am. It's funny, because when I went to bed at 10pm before the March SAT, I did worse then when I went to sleep at 3am for the June SAT.

Who would of knew that less sleep accounts for a greater score.
But, you shouldn't try my method XD
