for one or both?

man this is gay cuz i know i should've gotten a 5 on at least bio

cuz my friend said he copied off me and he got a 5

it's $25 per
so $50 for you?
i guess if you're really sure on one and not so sure on the other one, just pay 25

Should I waste 50 bucks to get my AP Bio and AP Art His rescored? .... I'm just mad because I studied a lot for those tests and got 2's ... I thought I did pretty well too ...

Even though they won't go to toward my major, ... should I still request them to rescore?

If you want. My mom got really mad at me because she's like "You won't need these credits and blah blah!!" lol. Therefore, I only got to rescore one of them. I faxed mine in. 610-290-8979 is the fax #. You need your name, exam, AP #, credit card #, and experation date of the credit card. I put my address and my school just in case

thanks lol ... my mom probably says the same thing too ... but I will think about it.

If they go towards your major, it's unlikely that it will count for any credits.
For those who thought that they got a 5 but got a 4, I doubt it's an MC error, though it's possible. It's just.. not like a 2. I think you might've just messed up? :|

i agree with Hurt
if it's a 2 and you're sure you got a 5, then i would go for the rescore cuz it's more probably College Board messed up >.<

I wonder if anyone got their score lower by rescoring? lol that'd be sad.

that's exactly what i'm worried about >.<
i dont' want to spend 25 dollars and get my grade lowered lol

Only on CC will you find people complaining about a 4, saying there must be a mistake.

I seriously doubt a score could go down. Most of the time when the score goes from a 2 to a 5 is when the CB forgot to add the FRQ section to the MC or lost one section. My guess is that when they rescore they see that they missed one section? I'm not sure though...

thanks froozle!

Are you allowed to retake an AP when you are already in college? (If you got a 4 and need a 5 for credit.)

If collegeboard made a mistake, do they give you a refund??

If one just asks for a rescore of the MC, how do they know that a mistake was made with the FRQs? The test in question for me is Spanish. There were tapes and booklets, so there was more to be lost... And if I order the FRQ booklet, will I get bother the booklet and the tape??

i know for SAT IIs they give you a refund but it didn't say anything about it for APs

They probably do for AP tests. You might have to call them to verify this information.

It wouldn't be very fair to charge you for their mistake, would it? I can understand the fees if you are wasting their time just to find out that you failed the test.

I agree with Liist
it's just that the AP student pack/website does not specify while the SAT II section specifically says it will refund
the diff is with SAT IIs...it costs $50 instead of $25 which is a lot more (to me at least lol)

For all those people that found out collegeboard hadn't combined the MC and FRQ or had just lost a part, how did you find out? Did you ask for the FRQ booklet or did you ask for a re-score?

We ask for both a rescore and a copy of the FRQ. In my sons case, a rescore would've been the only way to discover the mistake. First, we received the FRQ without any info, just the booket in an envelope. Much later, we received the explanation letter from Collegeboard. We didn't receive a refund because the mistake was my sons. He mislabeled his answer booklet, bubbled in the wrong section number.
