Did Anyone Ever Get Their AP Score Changed?

I am considering a rescore, too. I got my scores a couple days ago and noticed I got a 2 on ab and a 1 on bc, as well as a 2 on chem. My calc teacher said he was highly confident that I'd get 4's and 5's on both sections, considering the high scores on all my 9 practice tests. I got straight A's in both calc and chem, and after leaving the test highly confident that I got 5's. I didn't even put an ounce of effort into world and pulled out a 5. It makes me wonder... Do you think a 1 on bc is a good enough reasoning to request a rescore? Should I ask for the frq booklets too? It just seems so out of whack. And now I have to sign up for a whole new schedule at my college!

cwat...i would DEFINITELY rescore especially if both your teacher and you feel confident about testing

Should I request a rescore on my AP Lit score of 3? I walked out of the test feeling confident about multiple choice but iffy on the essays, but I still thought I could pull a 4. My college requires a 4+ for credit, and that credit would be really useful.. but is it worth it to pay 25$ if I'm not positive it was a mistake?

maea: I'm in the same situation as you....I really don't know if it's worth to pay $25.

I got a 3 in Bio, when I was pretty sure I could pull off a 4 or 5. I had a really good teacher too, and in all his years of teaching, about 85% of the kids got 4's or 5's. I averaged a B in the class, and I was actually pretty positive I would get a 4, I just don't know what happened. Should I rescore? And how would I do this?

Could someone please answer this, I need to know:
Are you allowed to retake an AP when you are already in college? (If you got a 4 and need a 5 for credit.)

APs are only for high school students

I personally think it makes more sense to rescore the FRQ.... cuz the MC goes thru a machine... how likely is it for a machine to mess up? I mean, I got a 3 on World and I REALLY expected a 5...atleast a 4. My AP world teacher was invited to be the grader for the Ap exam and he said that I would def. get a 4 or a 5...I got like 70-80% on my practice MC's but my teacher always complimented my essays...

Well, it's because of the process. First there's one grader that grades your essays. Then another grader grades your work to double check everything's right. If there's a difference in scoring (which there often is), the person goes to the leader of the table (since there are so many people and tests they split them up) and figure the right score. That's why they don't recheck free responses. They go through a process where there's room for little error.

hey guys how long does it take CB to do the whole process of rescoring and mailing back the scores also do you request CB to rescore and request for the frqs or just rescore? Thanks in advance

they said it would take 6-8 weeks.

Is it more common that your score remains the same or changes?

they said the possibility of your score changing is less than 2%...

if you feel confident that you got a 5 or a higher score, then i'd just rescore.
it's definitely more common that your scores stay the same but at the same time, changed scores are not unheard of
