three weeks and no response... my friend applied last tuesday and got a reply friday! 3 days?! what the hell gives... ):

foresakeof, it depends on the major. what did your friend choose as a major? if it is one of those pre-somethings, it will be pretty quick. as for me, same case as you. i applied about a month ago and no response.

really... majors matter? i thought their site said the major didn't matter, only the school. i applied to pharm, NB SAS, and Newark SAS. I don't know why i did newark SAS @.@ really should have done like business or biological school =\ not like i'd ever even go to newark rofl.
still waiting.. ):

new brunswick s the hardest to get into, right?

They do rolling admissions at Rutgers? I submitted mine at the beginning of November, but I was under the impression that I would not be getting a decision until spring.

They say it's not rolling, but you probably won't have to wait until spring.
And yes, New Brunswick is the hardest to get into.

I got in tonight. :) (SAS, only applied for that.) I submitted my app late September and everything was in by Early October. I felt like I waited longer than other people so I self reported my grades Friday. (and now I'm under the impression that that's the key.)
GPA: 3.59 (some honors/APs, but not the majority)
SATs: 1210/1870 (650 math, 560 critical reading, 660 writing)
Class Rank: 87/310
EC: Marching band; drum major, Volunteer @ Big Brothers Big Sisters

Good luck guys. It's been fun freaking out with you.

Awesome, congratulations!

Rutgers says it's rolling, but there are rumors flying around that it no longer is. Since all of these people got in, though, it must still be. Still no answer, haha. I'm takin a lot longer than other people =

Good luck and congrats to those in!

Thanks!
forthesakeof, Rutgers isn't rolling anymore. I called and asked and they said people who apply earlier MIGHT get a response earlier. I think it's basically rolling with a little leeway just so they wouldn't have applicants pestering for a response. A response is guaranteed before Feb 28.

if i apply to Newark, Camden, and New Brunswick, do I have to pay 3 separate admission fees? And what about SAT scores? I need to send them to 3 diff schools?

i got innnnnn
36 ACT 4.0

Help! Applied to the NB SAS....

SAT Scores/HS Report/$65 all received, last updated 10/23/08.... am I missing something????

no. just the waiting process

Mine was updated yesterday. I had submited it on Friday.

What does that mean?

wait for the status date to change again. when it changes, it means that they have begun to review it.
