"Its too early to release decisions, but you are a very competitive applicant and might want to book a flight to visit" email

I got one for UCLA, then got in, Didn't get one for Cal so I'm wondering if they send them.

"Its too early to release decisions, but you are a very competitive applicant and might want to book a flight to visit" email

I got one for UCLA, then got in, Didn't get one for Cal so I'm wondering if they send them.

when did you get that? I got into UCLA, but I’m pretty sure I never got that email

Same, I never received an e-mail from UCLA (except for a scholarship) prior to their decisions.

UCLA Engineering sent out emails like that, but I don’t think Berkeley does.

I got the email from UCLA as well. However, that was only sent out to engineering students. To my knowledge, Berkeley does no such thing.

never got any of those emails (applied for college of L&S, so maybe that’s why?) and got into both LA and Berk last year. I wouldn’t sweat over not receiving these emails.

I got one for an overnight stay thing at UC Berkeley. But it might have been because I applied for their scholarship.

My S never got that email from UCLA and he was admitted. However, we live in the LA area and his expected major is physics. However, today UCLA sent him an email inviting him to a math boot camp for two weeks prior to the fall term, expense paid, due to demonstrated math skills. But he doesn’t want to be a math major, oh well.

I did not receive any type of message like that

Yeah, I applied engie, didn’t know it was only for us

I didn’t receive one from UCLA, but I got in anyways. so I think they are sent out at random?

i got in UCLA engineering too… didn’t get any email like that… i’m an international though

^ I’m an international as well, but I got the email.

That’s weird O.o

Anyway, no point speculating.

maybe some elite pool lol
