Did anyone hear from University of Michigan Ann Arbor yet?

mikimouse-
Yeah I got that letter too! I was freaking out cuz it was a small envelope...But they made a mistake on me...my winter classes were messed up. So when i called the admissions office i got to talk to the person who makes the final decision on admission, and i had to email her all my correct info. I dont really think its a preliminary DECISION neccessarily, but a brief "look over"

Hi Constable... I did not get my letter yet... was yours a negative letter or a positive letter?
How abtou mikimouse... did you get a negative letter or a positive letter?

And what do you guys mean by preliminary decision???
What is it???

By the way... I believe that the admitted letter also comes with a small envelope and the big yellow envelope comes after the small one
Hey Constable... What did it say on the small envelope you received??? I am curious because I never got any letters from UMICH

Hi Constable... How are you?
No I did not get my letter yet??? Did you get your decision yet?
What is a preliminary decision?????
Also, I believe that the admitted letter or the "Congradulation" letter comes in a small envelope just like the "deferred" or "denied" letter. The big fat yellow envelope will come after the small envelope.
Moreover, DID ANYONE HEAR DECISION FROM UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN YET???

Testing this thread. Seems to work fine, so I am deleting the duplicate.

Thank you Andale

Hi lum2008

The letter just stated that they wanted fall grades to make a final decision so it wasn't a negative or positive letter. Im so frustated because the wolverine access website doesn't seem to be up to date.

As Constable mention, they probably haven't made a preliminary decision yet but they might have looked at the application but didn't really analyze it. I think they will do an overall check when they get all the materials they requested from us.

Constable when did you send in your application? I sent mine in during the last week of October so it took them a while to send a letter back to me wanting my fall grades. I think if you sent your fall grades they would just send you the notification letter.

I applied Early December. I called a few weeks ago, and as of now, they have all of my info. just waiting on that decision.

I submitted my application like two hours...I'm nervous.

Sachmoney: If you are applying for BBA, I just want to tell you that the deadline is March 31st. So you are well within the period.

Well, I'm 2010, and they changed the program to a three year beginning with my year, which I think is absolutely retarded. So I'm not applying to Ross. I'm applying to LSA instead. Although I'm sort of disappointed that I won't be (won't have the chance) at Ross, I think Michigan has a strong program in my other interest in such a way that I can be prepared for business. I really love the school too, and it's definitely better than where I am now (as a school).

anyone heard yet?

No...
Did anyone seriously heard yet?
Constable... did you hear yet?
Why is it taking so long?

They received my application. :)

well they said 8-12 weeks and they wanted to see your 1st semester grades, so i would imagine we'd find out late february or early-mid march

the anticipation is killing me.

Hi Constable
Why do you say your anticipation is killing you?
Did you hear from them yet?

DID ANYONE HEAR FROM UMICH???
I cant believe no one heard yet
So people who applied way back in September, October, November and December never heard yet??????????????????????

they wanna see your semester grades (fall 07), so thats why they havent made a decision yet. they are in the process of reviewing your application as a whole

I just got my view decision link on my wolverine access and I got in! I'm so happy and relieved! Good luck to the rest of you!
