Did anyone take chem 7L safety exam the second time?

Hi, I just took my online safety exam for chem lab and my computer started to act weird..... so i ran out of time and did not pass.

I heard I have to get 80% or is it 85% in order to pass the second time.
Will it be the same as the first one??

Failed? TAKE THE SECOND EXAM. A student who FAILS at the first attempt (score <75%, rounded to the nearest whole number) may retain a place in class by passing a second exam (in person and on paper, 25 multiple-choice questions). Passing score on the second exam is 85%. On the second exam, comments are invited and encouraged and partial credit is common.

BRING TO THE SECOND EXAM: your UCSD student ID card, #2 pencils and erasers; Scantron forms will be provided. See current schedule (above) for test times & places.

IIRC from what my prof told us, this test will be different slightly. I don’t think it’s an exact copy, but concepts should be the same, with different wording… but if you found the online exam to be easy (and you weren’t using any study guides or anything during the exam) then you should be fine.

To pass the second exam, it’s 85% like spatel23 said. It’s not as hard as the first one but definitely study for it. I don’t think those safety exams are totally obviously like people said they would be. The study guide is very helpful (and all the questions from the exam come from that guide too). You also get to put down comments on your answers so it’s possible to get partial credit too.
