none of the applications i've filled out have a place for you to write your scores down. instead they just have you send them the scores. so only send the act, and if you have to fill out what you got on the sat, go ahead. a 1900 is not bad anyways, and they will see that you did great on the ACT and realize that you might have just had a bad day on the sat.

the problem is I sent my SAT score before I even knew what it was..... and it turned out not as good as I hoped, but then I sent a great ACT... so will that great ACT outshadow the low SAT? will they overlook the bad SAT?

definitely... and a 1900 is NOT low... and scores are a relatively small part of the admissions process as long as you have a decent score... i mean think about this, what if you saw someone had a 2 for the AP Calc AB exam and a 5 for the BC exam, wouldn't you think the 5 would overshadow the 2?

some colleges put more weight on a certain test. Look at stanfords "application requirements"...it says that they will put more weight on the SAT I if it is sent along with an ACT...this would be a problem for a high ACT scorer, low SAT scorer, who wants to send their SAT IIs. THis is the only college that actually stated this policy, however, i have a feeling that some other very competitive colleges do the same
