did everyone get an email confirming their ER Status-should I worry?

I noticed some people have talked about getting an email saying they were eligible for ER.

I submitted my application mid-October along with everything else except my teacher recommendation which was sent at the end of October. WA shows everything received-with the teached recommendation posted on 11.12.

I never got any email saying I was being considered ER. Should I be worried, or were emails sent only to people who submitted their applications right around the deadline.

I sent i my stuff Oct 31 and got the email that night… so i don’t know maybe it’s for people who submitted near the deadline?

I had it all in by October 20th and didn’t get an email…I’m worried

I didn’t get an email either, I submitted it right before the deadline.

dont think you get an email guys - i wouldnt worry, relax.

My son got an email a few days after he submitted his app. If you go to Wolverine Access & click on chat, the person who responds to your request can look up whether or not you are on the EA list.

Where is the chat button?

I got an email… but it didn’t say I made the deadline, it just said my app was received by the deadline. Here, i’ll copy/paste it if i can find it

Doesn’t say whether I got the deadline (even though I know I did) and was sent October 15th…lol

well i think thats the email everyone is referring to … and i’m pretty sure if you didnt get that you didnt make the EA deadline (the first sentence basically says to…)

unless there’s a different email you guys are talking about? that’s all that i got

@jkaplan,
yours and mine are different… hmmm i’m confused

that’s whats weird, everything on the website is like 10/14/09, 10/15/09, 10/14/05, 10/16/09…I don’t understand why it wouldn’t be

^That’s is not true. Not all notifications are sent out to everyone who applied near the deadline. There are so many applications that UM has to process that only those apps that are processed first are notified with the email. However those apps that haven’t been processed, but are postmarked by NOV. 1 still qualifies for ED.

So your saying I could still be in the ER pool? If I’m not I have all the saved documents etc to prove that I am, but I really don’t want to have to go through that with admins.

i think they just want to confuse us and freak us out even more then we already are. i don’t get why one person would get an automated response and another wouldn’t…if we both fulfill the deadline requirements. /:

all my stuff actually says received after nov 1 (but i sent it in before), yet i still got the email. so i have nooo idea

lol and mine is much before and I didn’t, I think if we learned anything it’s that UM admissions is terribly unorganized and inconsistent.

i agreee. oh well, you should probably just get on the chat thing on monday or just call and ask. i’m sure they can check for you

ya I definitely will, cause if not being OOS w/o ER i’m probably doomed
