Did I hurt my chances?

I know it's pretty late to be worried about something like this since decisions come out in like a week but I'm concerned that I made a mistake by sending my subject test scores to USC. I took Physics, Math and U.S. History. I did fairly well on the Math one but not great on the others. I took them Fall 2013 because I was told that USC wanted them for scholarship consideration. I thought they would only be used for scholarship purposes. In January I was told I wasn't being considered for a scholarship, but now I'm worried that those subject tests were used in my regular decision. I think I read somewhere that the subject tests are optional and that they shouldn't hurt my chances but I wanted to be sure.

Also on a slightly unrelated note:
Does USC consider everyone for the College of Letters if they can't offer you admission to your first or second choice majors?

Thanks!

My son didn’t send his because they were borderline, and now we’re wondering if that was a mistake. Bottom line, none of us will ever know… if you get in, it won’t matter. and if you don’t get in, it won’t either!

I can’t argue with that logic. It’s just really hard not to think about the mistakes I might have made. This week is going to be very slow.

I don’t think they take SAT 2s that seriously. If they’re good, they’ll help you; if they’re low, they shouldn’t hurt you.

Lets see… damn I took the SAT 2’s forever ago… but if I remember correctly, I took US History and gota 710, Math 2 and got like a 650, and Literature and got like a 580 hahaha

And I’m currently a junior at USC.
