I applied to Iowa State University and they sent out email 2 in the morning that says they need an “individual review” of my profile. They said they will contact me if they need something from me. yes I applied to the 2 business day admission decision program. (I am qualified)

I am no expert but I think I read that if your stats (SAT, GPA) don’t meet their magic number (I think I remember it being the 248 formula) that they will then look at your application materials individually. Iowa State is very different that they allow you to self report all of your information and as long as you meet your formula they accept you quickly. That sounds easy but when I looked at the formula I could see how SAT scores or other factors could keep a good student from the speedy admissions procedure. I think you will be fine.
