Did I just screw myself for college admissions?

Its my senior year in HS and im currently doing kinda... BAD. I have 2 D's coming up on the first semester final in 2 weeks...

basically im an OOS scrambling to make ASU my once safety school into the school I can get into or else im boned for CC. I had about a 3.1ish going into this year and I meet most of the requirements right now, unfortunately I have a D in AP Bio and a D+ in precalculus, however I had already met ASU's science requirements before this year and took AP bio out of curiosity, bad choice. with the Math I have a chance of coming out with a C in the class if I can make a final push for my grades... but if worst comes to worst it says supposedly I can also make it up with a 24 or better on the ACT as another acceptable requirement... but my question is am I screwed either way with these D's? even if one of them comes from a class that isnt required from me and from a math class where I can make it up with a better ACT score?

ahhh crap im too stressed :</p>

bump

10char.

I don’t know about ASU, but at some schools (like UMass) they take your senior year 1st quarter grades and average them into their recalculated GPA as if they were an entire year, meaning it counts as 1/4 of your entire GPA. I’m not kidding. You could look into whether ASU does this.

If there were circumstances to explain a drop in grades (family health problem, etc), you should write a letter explaining it.

Why are you in AP Bio and Pre-Calc if you have a D and a D+? You should immediately, drop down a level in both of these classes and try to salvage that GPA. You clearly haven’t learned the material you covered last semester so there is no point in heaping incomprehension on incomprehension.
