Having sent the app yesterday night, at 12/31 around 10 pm, I was wondering if the student who sent it in around 12/10 or so would be looked upon favorably even in the smallest way. IdeaS?

online deadline: 1/3/09

no, it has nothing to do with how they look at your app; this is the official statement they give. similarly, no discriminations will be made upon those apps that are sent in by mail, not computer...
there are the cynical few, however, who may not believe this, but Yale claims they give a holistic look to every app and don't count things like early submissions of apps

good luck!

Yale doesnt look holistically at every app, but not because of submit time

No...they do, they guarantee a holistic look-over to everyone who applies. It's 12am and I'm not in the state of mind to peruse their website and find where this is stated, but it's there, I've come across it multiple times.

Perhaps I trust them a bit to much though..I am ever the optimist :)

I've heard that they review holistically.
