Did I ruin my chances for Dartmouth?

My senior year grades are the following:

AP Bio- B+ (please note, that in my school a B+ is 90-93, which is an A- in many other high schools and colleges)

IB Math 2 SL - B+

IB English - B+

IB Philosophy - B+ (see the trend???)

IB Chem - B (88)

AP Spanish - A

IB History - A

My gpa dropped --very slightly though – from a 4.728 to a 4.711. I’m ranked 2 in my class of 415.

Also, I have a 2110 SAT, 760 Spanish SAT, 720 USH and 680 WH

I’m also a low-income URM.

My Dartmouth essay is pretty good; depending on the person, it could be very good…or a little cheesy. However, my interview was awesome and my interviewer told me he really wants me to get in!

They are going to tear your application into little pieces, then feed it to their dogs, then burn their poop. They will then scatter the ashes over the Pacific Ocean. Finally, they will call up all the other top 25 colleges and offer to cover their endowment losses if they agree to also reject you.

haha, nice Xanatos.
But seriously, a GPA drop from 4.728 to 4.711 is minimal. While B's dont look great, it won't "ruin your chances". Good luck.

Are these grades for first semester, first trimester, first quarter....what?

Since a B+ at your school is a 90-93... your grades are still really good (provided that you're in an extremely challenging curriculum).

lol, i wish these were my 1st 9 weeks grades (they are my semester ones).

You're number 2 in your class at a competitive school and a low income URM with a 2100 plus SAT. Relax.
