Did i ruin my chances?

I go to a very competitive high school; I believe it’s ranked about 50th in the nation.
Up until my junior year I had all As. But last year I got 2 Bs and 2B+s.
I am currently a senior.

Weighted GPA: 4.070
Unweighted GPA: 3.738

Junior year I took AP Spanish, AP Physics, and AP US, as well as honors precalc, honors comp sci, and honors english.
I got 5s on the physics and us, but a 3 on the spanish. I also got an 800 on physics, an 800 on Math IIc, and a 720 on US.

SATs
Math: 770
Writing: 750
Reading: 720

This year I am taking all APs and am on course to get As and A-s.

Sophomore year I got 780 in Bio and a 5 on the exam.
I founded my school's msa, and I am the president/officer of 2 to 3 other clubs. I also volunteer, and plan on getting a job.
I received a 212 on the PSATs and am National Merit commended student.

My gpa barely misses the first desile by about .018. I am wondering if colleges will immediately discredit me because of this. Furthermore, will they take into account my improvement during senior year and the fact that I did well on the standardized tests correlating to those subjects in which my grades were slightly lower?

What are my chances at Johns HOpkins and Cornell?

"My gpa barely misses the first desile by about .018. I am wondering if colleges will immediately discredit me because of this."
- The first thing to understand that college admissions officers will never AUTOMATICALLY discredit you from the running for academics unless your academics are very, very below the average of what they expect (which your grades aren't). The fact that you did take SAT2's in the subjects that you did slightly less does help you out a bit, so as whole, I would say don't worry about it. Officers will not kick you out just because you have 2 B's and B+'s. They look at your record holistically.

Chances are hard to give without the rest of your record, which includes extracurrics, essay, etc. etc.

As for the first decile thing, get it recalculated later in the year. If you are in, submit it. If not, submit your better one. There is still hope.

Thanks for the replies.
Well, I was worried because one school I plan on applying to states that I must be in the first decile. It says that no exceptions will be made, regardless of school competitiveness or class size.

MMEI, I asked my guidance counselor and she said that at the end of junior year, the gpas are calculated, and those are final. I am fairly sure (95%) that by the end of first semester, my gpa will be well within the first decile. I guess I will talk to her about it then.

I haven't written any essays yet. I'm sure they will be well thought out and well-edited. Should I consider writing on what I've learned and how I've grown throughout high school, and tie that to my aspirations for college?
