Did I screw something up w/ regards to registration?

OK, so before classes started, I added a class and was put on the holdfile for it (which is different from the waitlist). My schedule on Testudo didn't show it until the first day of school. In fact I have a screenshot of my schedule showing the class, right there on the schedule.

However, today I logged in to MyUMD and to my surprise found that the class wasn't on my list of classes. It doesn't show up in my schedule anymore on Testudo either. Nor am I in the class on Blackboard.

So what gives? I emailed my professor about this but he hasn't responded. I plan on going to the office of the registrar tomorrow and giving them what for, since I already bought the book and have been going to every class and discussion, actively participating. Both the professor and my TA can testify to the fact that I've been attending the class. Probably the only reason this hadn't been noticed sooner is that we haven't had any papers, tests or quizzes yet.

Did you make sure you accepted the class? Sometimes you have to accept it but I don’t remember the circumstances I had to do this under. (Did it maybe put you over the credit limit?)
I’m not completely sure how the holdfile works, but is it possible to get bumped from the class afterwards?

If you’ve been going to the class though, I’m pretty sure most professors would let you in.

Yeah I talked to the registrar and the lady there said I had to ‘confirm’ the class. Nah it didn’t put me over the credit limit, it was restricted to incoming freshmen. They said I’d need a signed letter from my prof (which he said he’ll give me) and to give it to my college adviser so I can have it added or something like that.

So ****in stupid :/
