I previously studied abroad and attended Tsing Hua University (THU), the top engineering school in Asia, for 3 years and withdrew from the school since I decided I wasn’t interested in chemistry anymore + language barrier. After this I worked full time and took classes at a nearby community college for 2 years for Computer Science. I was curious if any UC would accept me with my current community college transcript so I submitted UC applications without the THU transcript. I got a few acceptances from UCs but rejected them all. Now I feel very silly for not submitting THU transcript because I am seriously looking to re-apply to the UC system this year and finish my B.S. in EECS, but I heard from others that I should have submitted my THU transcript. The problem is I heard the UC keeps previous application submissions and will note the discrepancy If I try to submit an application with THU transcript and may ban me from every applying again.
If I submit another UC application this year with my THU transcript, could the UC system ban me and report this as an academic integrity violation to ALL US schools? I see that I already messed up my chances in the UC system, so I am also applying to MIT and Stanford, but I don’t want to try applying to the UC system if they are going to report this to the other private schools I am applying to.
Thank you!
