Did Ohio State screw something up?

okay i was accepted oos to ohio state for bio as a freshman. i sent in my fafsa and this is what they put online:
Cost of Education
Estimated Cost of Attendance: $25950
Expected Family: $7850
Contribution Financial Aid Need: $18100

i am confused were all these numbers came from. my efc is 11300 and out of state cost of attendence is about 36000.

any ideas?

they did mess it up…they just changed it to this… :(

Cost of Education

Estimated Cost of Attendance: $38925
Expected Family contribution: $11317
Financial Aid Need: $27608

Where are you getting these figures from?
OSU will not be posting financial aid reports until early April.

the financial aid section of were you view the decision. they havnt given me any aid yet, but they just put in those numbers.

Is it in the “status” section?
When we check it tells us that financial aid, if any, will be posted in April.

yeah its in the status. and it may be posted in april, i didnt get any aid yet and they just posted those 3 numbers.

I found it.
I think those figures come from their “calculator.”
There’s one on FAFSA’s site as well.

so do you have to send in the $100 so they’ll tell you how much finaid u get or will they tell u anyways? also if u do send in money does it mean u have 2 go there

no. you do not have to pay to see financial aid. it will be on the online status check thing. if you pay money you do not have to go. for example if you pay the enrollment deposit and then another college takes you off a waitlist, you can enroll at the college that took you off, but you wont get the deposit back.
