Did the read the letter I sent?

Hi boys and girls,

I sent a supplementary essay to Princeton by means of mail (priority mail) on Jan 31. Basically I realized that with the essays I had submitted, they wouldnt get a full picture of my circumstances so I sent them another one explaining this. My question is, will they actually read my letter and take it into account or will it just be filed away for no one's eyes to see

Thanks

They will most likely read it when your app comes around. That's why they encourage supplementary material when necessary.

i don't think anyone know for sure. we're all in the same boat and just hope that they read what we send in. but they can choose.

Maybe you should have attached the "Optional: What Else..." form, but whatever. They still probably read it, especially if you were borderline and as long as you didnt' send them a ton of other stuff.

I sent a letter along with my supplimentary essay (which was attached to the What Else? form). I assume they read it, but if not, oh well. All mine said was that I still considered Princeton my #1.

If you're still troubled, call the office and ask them if you want.
