Did they cut admissions this year?

<p>I noticed that a lot of my friends who are pretty smart with solid stats didn't get into places like UCSB and UCD this year. They are smarter and have better stats than most of the people who went to those schools last year from my high school.</p>

<p>So did they cut admissions or something? Or I am just imagining things?</p>

<p>Transfer admissions increased for most UC's.</p>

<p>so UCLA didn't decresa that much and UCB increased quite much as so did Merced</p>
