It’s been a while, but:

SAT score: 610 V 570M (don’t remember writing score, frankly, probably around these ranges)
Gender: Female
Type of School: Public, accelerated honors program
GPA: I ended up with around a 92
Extracurriculars: Ugh, what DIDN’T I do? Everything music related, marching band, Mock Trial, Moot Court, Model UN

1st college: NY CC (CUNY)
GPA: 3.45
ECs: Varsity sport, student music teacher, retail worker
Other factors: Recommendations from internship boss and econ professor were glowing (professor was an NYU alum)
Essays: Wrote a passionate essay about how NYU Steinhardt was the only school I would be able to study what I wanted, and how I would contribute to the transfer student culture

Reasons for transfer: CUNY didn’t have the major I wanted, the school was lacking, wanted a real college experience, needed the academic prestige
