Did you get a call from UCLA???

I deleted it. sorry about that...but it's torturing. Why don't they give us a exact date....sigh....

UCLAri. Since you are a Super Moderator, could you give us some insights about this call from UCLA based on your experience. Is that a sign of acceptance? They have already made decision, and right after that, we start getting phone call. What do you think?

Well, my being a moderator gives me no more insight into UCLA's admission policies than any other alumnus, but I'll say this much: most who get pursued through phone calls seem to do well when it comes to admission. But that is purely anecdotal and has no basis in any verifiable fact.

Does anyone know if they are still making calls?

Let's see. If they didn't call anyone tonight, then I would say yes.....btw, what's your GPA?

I have a 3.69 with Tap and my major is polisci

polishedmess,

I'd be very surprised if you didn't get in with your achievements. I wouldn't worry much.

they won't call you because the requirement for the scholarship is GPA 3.75 or above

polishedmess, don't worry too much like me. You will be fine. GPA doesn't mean anything. If you have good ECs and some other experience

Actually, you didn't have to have a 3.75 at the time of application (or update) to receive the phone call. I think that's where a lot of the confusion comes from.

what do you mean, cccbound?

I received the phone call. Not only is my GPA is under 3.75, but I never filed my FAFSA.

I'm just going to be happy when decisions are released..this wait seems like forever!

i guess it was a random call..

It couldn't have been random o_O...

then why people with lower than 3.75GPA got a call?and some with higher than 3.75GPA did not get a call?

any one got a call today?

I'm hoping it has to do with the fact that we might be accepted. Notice the uncertainty in my word choice, but who know at this point.

i think that was just a 2 day -night- thing

8 day countdown! :)
