Did you go to a public, magnet, or private school?

New WashU acceptees! What type of high school did you attend?

And where's everyone from anyways?

Ginormous inner-city public in Texas. Not the greatest education, but I made the best with what I had.

Private college prep school

Highly-ranked (Top 25 in US News & World Report) magnet school in SoCal.

Public High School in SoCal. I’m in a magnet program at the school though.

I’m from north of houston. I got to a public school but we have a magnet program for IB that attracts students from within the district. I’m in the IB program but was already zoned to attend the school

@cosine45- what school did you go to? I’m at Klein Oak if you have heard of it

Big Public High school with class size around 1010

Very good Public school, northern NJ. Some magazines say #1 school in the state but I have reservations after what I’ve seen, hah

Regular public school in illinois. Class size of 400.

I go to Lamar HS just north of Rice and US 59. And yeah I have friends who live in Klein, but I think they go to Collins HS.

Typical New England prep school elitist over here. Looking forward to the laid-back Midwest for sure.

Jewish private school in northeast. Looking forward to the laid-back Midwestern attitude as well.

IB program in a public school in Gainesville, fl.

IB program public school in Greater Vancouver, Canada

regular ole public school in Georgia

graduated from an independent private school in milwaukee, wisconsin, but went to a 2000 student public high school in maryland for 3 out of 4 years of high school.

HOTDANCER…eastside high? What a transformation of that school from my days when they didn’t offer math above Algebra II. Anyone from GHS joining you at WUSTL? No one had heard of it when I graduated many years ago from GHS and I was the only one who applied…chose Duke for financial aid reasons…WUSTL was far more expensive than Duke back then…believe that? Still the shock of the midwest after G’ville will be great…G’ville is just ol’ Hogtown made big…I thought I had died and gone to heaven the first week of orientation in Durham.
