hey, im a junior just trying to figure out how many people send in their AP scores to the colleges they are applying to.

so, did you send in your scores when applying for admission, and where will you be attending in the fall?

..just curious

don't waste your money sending scores for college apps. Send official AP score reports after you've been accepted and have selected your college -- that's why CB gives you one free score report, to be used senior year. Instead of sending official score reports (and making CB richer), just self-report your AP scores in the 'Other' section of your application.

Okay, logistics aside, is what you're really interested in whether or not telling a college what your scores were was helpful in gaining admission?

senioritis42: basically,yes. I've heard conflicting information

Okay, during my junior year I took two APs, U.S. History and English Lit. and I told the colleges what my scores were. I'm going to Yale in the fall.

Hope this helps.

I sent my scores (only three tests, they were all 4's) and I'm going to Harvard in the fall.

bump action...any more clarification?

I don't know if it matters, but I sent my scores in (2 5s and 2 4s). I don't know if it helps, but it certainly doesn't hurt. Plus, sending your scores to ONE college is paid for by the price of the exam. So, it can't hurt to just pick your number one choice and write that one on the answer sheet.

And I just said "it can't hurt" like five times. oops.

anyone send in 3's? all of you guys aced your ap's..haha.

i got a 3 in spanish lang and put it on all of my applications, and i am still going to penn

Dude, anyone should be proud of a 3 in spanish lang....heck, Im HOPING that I get that high.....
