Hello,, I'm wondering if anyone else Visited PSU after they got accepted. and What exactly they do on those Visits.

I already took the Tour before they Accepted me and I was wondering if it would be worth it to go back there again. I mean I already took the Tour. What exactly do you do differntly on this visit other then meet people that have been accepted As well.

Would you reccomend going back. I'm still not sure if it would be worth it.

i visited in october.. and im going back this weekend for one of the smeal visits... i think one of the big differences is they focus in on your major or what not.. but i also have heard that once you enroll and take your placement tests, you have to go back up there again.. so if you're definitely going to go there.. you'll wind up back at UP before you go eventually. personally id take any chance i had to go back.. i <3333 happy valley =)

We went on a day for students admitted to Schreyer. They had presentations specific to offerings and benefits of Schreyer, as well as small group tours of relevant buildings. There was a panel discussion and also a casual reception. A very nice, well planned event that was worth attending.

lkf725, I am guessing that the day you are speaking about was not an "Offer Session" held by the SHC, or was it? We are attending the April 1st offer session, but it only lasts for two hours, according to the information sheet. Was there another day of SHC-related activities between the offer session and FTCAP days?

just got home--our tour was much better, everyone was an IST kid like mine, speakers were asst. dean of IST and several students, I'd say GO again if you can :)

I visited again after I was accepted to Schreyer. I went to the Offer Session and did an overnight the night before. I'm glad I did both (SHC tour is very different from regular PSU tour), but parts were a little redundant. I suggest doing an overnight even if you're not in SHC because you'll get to see things from a student's point of view.

I visited back in Feb, even though it was cold, the tour was great.
It made me decide that Penn State was the right choice.
The only problem was they said there wasnt any interacial interaction.
