<p>one of my friend only applied to UCSD and he got rejected, then yesterday he got the acceptance letter from UCR. I know that if u are UC eligible and rejected from all UCs u applied u will get in one guarantee, do they offer you with any UC other than Riverside?</p>

<p>I don't know about UCR, but UC Merced is the newest campus, so it's at the bottom of the pecking order and accommodates all the UC-eligible students. This may be the case for UCR this year as well, but it changes from year to year depending on space availability.</p>
