Difference between Chem 142 and Chem 145

So I have a schedule planned out, however with a recently taken math placement test and the results from that, it seems that I'd have to switch to Chem 145 to make everything fit in smoothly. So, I'm just wondering if anybody knows the differences between Chem 142 and 145 in terms of difficulty etc

The median gpa of Chem 145 is 3.5 and Chem 142’s is 2.6 and you are expected to have taken AP chemistry or had equivalent experience and knowledge in chemistry. I guess that the professors also expect you to know enough physics, biology and calculus to solve the problems. Chem 145 labs are also more challenging in terms of workload.
