Difference between General Chemistry I and College Chemistry I

<p>I am a sophomore in high school wanting to take chemistry this summer at my local CC. My school does not offer AP Chemistry, so I want to do it at my CC this summer.</p>

<p>It says I can do either General Chemistry I or College Chemistry I.</p>

<p>I am currently taking Honors Chemistry at school. It's a breeze. I have a 98 in the class and it's not a problem at all.</p>

<p>So would it be okay for me to take College Chemistry I?</p>

<p>Get hold of the textbook(s) used in these courses. They are likely to be available at the CCs library, and look them over. That will give you the sense of which course is appropriate.</p>
