Can anyone explain this to me? As an engineer, is it helpful or hurtful to take either. Right now I have a schedule planned with Math32 and it works very nice. Should I have tried to schedule in 32L instead, especially with a Chem and engineering lab already?

From what I hear, Math 32 is more proof-based while 32L teaches about applications of calculus. I don't know if the labs are helpful to engineers or not though..

I took 31L my first semester and then 32 instead of 32L. I really liked taking the class without the lab because personally, I didn't really enjoy the labs and found the class to be easier without having to deal with extra lab work. I was a biology major, however, and I don't know how important the lab is as an engineer.
