Math 41L vs. Math 32

<p>Hi. I have AP credit for AP Calculus AB, so I'm skipping Math 31 and going on to a Calc II course. There are basically three, math 41L, math 32, and math 32L. I can't decide which one to take. </p>

<p>I've read Options</a> for Calculus II and I know I probably don't want to do math 32L. So, that leaves math 32 and math 41L.</p>

<p>I think I'd like math 32 because it has less in class time and no labs (which would take up more out of class time). I think math 41L would be a good choice because its labs could help boost average or below average exam grades.</p>

<p>Anyone have any personal experience to share?</p>

<p>My friend who took math 41 said to avoid the class. Apparently it's really intense as you go through a whole year of calculus in one semester.</p>

<p>When did he/she take it? The class was redesigned starting in Fall 2007</p>

<p>She took it the fall of 2006 so I guess the course could be vastly different now.</p>

<p>Take 32, I know two people who took 41 and they both hated it. 32 is pretty standard, anyway</p>
