Difference in these 3 majors?

My situation is this:
I've flip-flopped my whole life about what I'd like to major in. Thankfully, I was accepted to UM this Fall and I've somewhat narrowed down my options (major-wise).

As of now, I'm planning on a double major in International Studies along with:

Arabic, Armenian, Persian, Islamic, and Turkish Studies
OR
Middle Eastern and North African Studies
OR
Near Eastern Studies

So my question is, WHAT IS THE FREAKING DIFFERENCE?
(I realize that all of the components of AAPTIS would fit into Mid-East, AKA Near East. So, what's the point of having 3 departments? And, would any one of the following be looked highly upon more so than the others in terms of careers? And if so, which careers?)

Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance! :)

Liberal Arts

all the same

someone is ignorant…

@ThisIsMichigan, then what’s the point of 3 different majors?
@nubswitstubs, I’m curious as to how I’m ignorant?

i was referring to ThisIsMichigan. if you didn’t realize, his post was implying the majors you listed are basically the same since they’re liberal arts majors…

@nubswitstubs Sorry :S

I thought you were one of those people who like scrutinizing others’ wording and shedding light on the technicalities of ‘generalization’, my mistake.

:D

Uh oh…

Is there any reason to decide now? Why not try out different classes and see what works best for you.
