Do you have different expectations for your grade in different classes? Would you be disappointed in an 80 in one class but proud of it in another?

Algebra II H: At least 97% by the end of the semester. I currently have (almost) a 95%.
AP Gov: At least 93% by the end of the semester.
Chinese II H: 100%. The class is that easy.
Bio H: At least 99%. Currently have 98%.
Lit H: At least 93%. Lit in my school is INSANE.
Engineering: IDC about this class. Not because it’s hard but because I never even wanted to take this class in the first place. Had no choice. I guess 93%.

What is a 93% in your school - is that an A? Or an A-?

I guess I’ll do mine out:
AP Calculus AB - 90%+
AP Literature - 90%+
AP Government - 99%+ (It is INCREDIBLY difficult to get less than an A in this class. He gives so many opportunities to make up tests, corrections, extra credit, etc. He really wants people to do well.
Marine Biology, H. - 99% (Its Marine biology…)
Latin III/IV - 95% (My expectations would be higher… but indirect statements will be the death of me.)

90+ for English.

93+ for everything else.

repede: i have some good news for you. you’re #1 on my dislike list now yay because preamble and i are like totally friends now

LOL, now that I’m looking at my post, I realize that considering its senior year, my expectations are going to change pretty drastically once applications get sent out. My schedule is certainly not senioritis-proof, alas.

Electives: 100
AP Stats: 90+
Gym: 95 LOL
Spanish, English, AP World: 98+ (although I do have a 96 right now…)
Trig/Chem: 99/100

If I were taking more APs/if I were a junior, my standards would probably be so much lower…

AP World Come on A-
Hon Eng 89.5+ and I will be so happy…
AP Stats Please let me pass with a 90.
AP Calc BC 94+
Spanish 3 99+
AP Bio 97+

94+ in everything because otherwise I get a B (3.0). My school’s grading system is more…discrete than I would like.

But I think it’s possible I’ll be judged by the grading standards of my college rather than of my high school, and in that case I want a 93+ in everything.

I would be ok with a 94-96+ in every class. My math grade is going to drop. It’s bound to happen now anyway because my math grade is going to drop ten fold because I actually failed the quiz:

Algebra 1: 93.81
Biochemistry:97.13 (Why) Hopefully I will have a 99+ in this class. Seriously.

Research: 87.3 Grade may go up. Got some projects to work on and stuff. Projects are worth 30% of our grade

Humanities: 95.4 I think I did we’ll on the test last week… I have yet to find out

Gym: 97.4

Spanish 2 Honors: 94.44 Hoping for a 96+

Art: 98.4 This grade is really ok. I draw myself.

I will try to maintain a 94+ in every class except of math… Maybe. I did the test corrections so I should be OK. I also have a math exam on Monday… HMMMMM

AP Lit: 92.5+
Accounting: 99+
Biotech: 98+
Con Law: 99+
AP Physics: 95+
Spanish: 96+
AP Stats: 92.5+

Last Year
AP Calc: 89.5+
Engineering: 95+
US History: 99+
Physics: 97+
Band: 99+
AP Psych: 98+
Spanish: 97+
APLAC: 96+

In general, I expect my highest grades to be in social sciences, and my lowest in math, but that varies with the teacher I have and whatnot.

I hate it if I get below a 97 in science/math classes, but with humanities classes, I don’t really care as long as I maintain my 4.0 UW GPA.
